Welcome back my cheap wine aficionados or winos if you want to be a dick about it. Once again we have reached a Wednesday and the world still exists. Way to go world! That means time to crack open a bottle or two for us and time for you to be jealous of us. This week we decided to try a Chardonnay by Clos Du Bois the same company whose Dry Rose we tried in Nothing wrong with a few friends having a Ménage à Trois. That wine received, “A flaccid 3”, an ominous foreshadowing, maybe. Guess you will have to read to find out.

It’s a cold rainy Wednesday Wine Night in Phoenix, which is odd, because it rarely rains in phoenix and it’s even stranger for it to be cold. Though when you get a group of friends together and open a few bottles of wine, it doesn’t seem some cold and the rain seems to wash away the troubles of the day. Life always feels just a little simpler when you have friends to share it with.

You may have noticed that some of the rating terms have changed on some parts of the website. These are some of the new terms we will be using; we will be updating the rest of the site and changing the older articles to avoid confusion. Though if you need to compare to the old terms they can still be found on the about page. So please feel free to tell us what you like, hate, or would like to see in the comments or via email contactus@wednesdaywine.com and I will do my best to make something worth following.
This week we will be reviewing one white and one red pitting them off in an epic battle. Two wines enter, only one wine leaves. Well that’s not really true. It’s more like two wines enter and two empty bottles leave.

Welcome once again to another addition of Wednesday Wine Night, where we make excuses to drink in the middle of the week and you get a little bit jealous of us. That’s right we know and we don’t blame you, we’re a little bit jealous of ourselves all the other days of the week.
Lately we have been having really been picking some good wines and tonight is no exception. A little spoiler, not a single one was undrinkable, and no one spit either of them out. It’s fun to variety so we went with one Red named Sweet Red Reel and one white called Sweet Moscato. Yes both wines where sweet, just like us (you know you where thinking it too.)

This week we were short the presents of the lovely Miss. Gina, as she was traveling the world. Well not so much the world but the east coast of the good old US of A. The rest of us held to our weekly duties of consuming and reviewing this weeks wines and a special week it was usually we review 2 or sometimes 3 wines, not this week though. We ramped it up to a whopping 4 wines this week, 1 white and 3 reds.
