    Sweet Sassy Molassy Well Lucy

    2013 - 03.13

    Wine o'clock.

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, I have come before you this beautiful evening to tell you about our latest endeavor into the wine of the world, (mostly the cheap ones from California). This week’s wine actually isn’t from California, yes we are capable of buying wines from other state and sometimes even other countries. Don’t believe me check the wine list, I know for a fact we have had at least a few from Argentina mostly because I bought them from the Argentina section of Bevmo. Anyway no more ranting time for drinking, please grab a glass and join us.

    What’s a Ménage à Trois with 4 people?

    2013 - 02.06

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy wine! And that's kinda the same thing.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed we’ve had a lot of Ménage à Trois’s at Wine night some where very popular and everyone was happy to have a repeat of those, other’s where awkward and left a weird taste in our mouths. So even though not all of our Ménage à Trois’s have been a success everyone is down when it’s suggested we have another one. Would it be a Ménage à Quatre since there where four of us? Either way this time we had a Chardonnay.

    Moscato in Winter

    2013 - 01.09

    Gentleman with wine.

In the cold January winter we have broken out the portable fire to stay warm and to add a little ambiance to go with our wine. Tonight we have a rose for you; this is the first rose we have rated for you in a while so I hope we both disappoint.

Diamonds Mischeif with Yellow Tail in the Big House

    2012 - 11.28

I vow to drink more wine so I can do something crafty with the corks.

As those of you who follow us on Facebook are already aware. We are now saving our corks for Dante. He has volunteered to do something crafty with them. I will update you as he makes progress.

In the post Turkey day blissfulness we were down two members both Chad and Gina. Sadly could not make it tonight though we do expect them back next week. Though tonight we will let you once again enjoy our naughty little threesome.

Though there where only three regulars in attendance, we did have a few guests to help us make sure none of the wonderful wines were wasted. Tonight we will be presenting you with 3 red wines and 1 white wine. I have noticed that our red wines have been out numbering our whites by quite a few lately. Do not worry my fans of whites we will be balancing it out soon.

    Happy Winesgiving!

    2012 - 11.27

Happy Thanksgiving to you, my lovely little winos, I mean connoisseurs of wines of all verities both in taste and quantity!

Welcome again to our quest to discover the best wine for the best price you can. Tonight was very special because tomorrow is thanksgiving, though Gina sadly was not able to make it we did have plenty of guests and tried a plethora of wines mostly Reds (this was not a shrewd attempt at tongue and cheek racism). With all our guests and the happy go lucky triviality I made a mistake, sorry it happens on the few of the wines I missed Bridget’s opinion. She was there I just failed to pick up on this fact until it was too late. So my apologies to you the reader I’ll make up for it with a few extra humorous quips.

Question: What did the grape say when it got stepped on?
Answer: Nothing – but it let out a little whine.

    Question: What’s a Scottsdale girl’s favorite wine?
Answer: ‘Daddy! can I go to Cabo!’

Hopefully I have won back your hearts and minds. I have? Good deal, then let get a move on. So many wines, so little time let’s get a move on.
