We’ve decided to post the reviews one week after we rate them so these entries will always be on Wednesday’s as would only be proper seeing as this is Wednesday Wine Night. Also with all the drinking it’s best if we don’t release them right away if you want more than a bunch of drunken babel, which might make an excellent video but not a review site. So that’s why we didn’t have a review last week, now on to the main show.
We tried not one, not two, but three wines this week. Aren’t we just moving right along with our classiness? This week’s wines where, “Domaine STE Michelle“ a sparkling white, “Red Jam” a red blend and “Buscado Blanco” a white blend.
Domaine STE Michelle – Domaine Ste Michelle
“Domaine STE Michelle” finished above average but wasn’t the bee’s knees. Bridget felt that it was bitter and not very flavorful but still rated it, “I’d get drunk on this”. Dante on the other hand was not a fan, agreeing with Bridget that it was lacking in the flavor department but he felt it was more, “Like drinking bong water.” Gina said it had a fairly neutral taste, so you can probably guess what she rated it, that’s right a nice solid, “If there’s nothing else”. Chad really liked it but it wasn’t a new favorite, she decided to stick to her New Age Rose and gave it an “I’d get drunk on this”. Thaddeus liked it a lot and wasn’t about to let this one get a low rating, he likes his sparkling whites and though this wouldn’t be his first pick of the whites it was his favor of the night. So he rated it a, “I’d drink this all week”.
Bridget – I’d get drunk on this
Dante – Like drinking bong water
Gina – If there’s nothing else
Chad – I’d get drunk on this
Thaddeus – I’d drink this all week
Jam Cellar – Red Jam
Dante decided he liked getting toasted on “Red Jam” last week. Ha, see what I did there, toasted like getting drunk or what you do to bread and “Red Jam” is the name of the wine or something you put on toast. *Pause for laughter* Anyway we tasted this last week but we didn’t rate it and it didn’t go over so well. Even with the poor opinions Dante brought it back this week only he didn’t chill it this time, so we tried it again. It’s lucky we didn’t rate it the first time because cold it was terrible, but at room temp it got a much better overall response. Bridget who was not a fan when she tried it before, completely changed her mind. She decided she’s now a solid, “I’d drink this all week”. Dante thought that it tasted like a sweeter “Ménage à Trois” his personal favorite though not a replacement. He also rated it, “I’d drink this all week.” Gina and Chad both liked it but weren’t in love with it (they just wanted to be friends with it), giving it an, “I’d get drunk on this.” Thaddeus on the other hand wasn’t as head over heels for the difference in taste, though he agreed that it was better at room temperature, it was still an “If there’s nothing else” for him.

Buscado – Buscado Blanco
The final wine of the night “Blanco”, was our first white blend and like some other firsts I hope the next time will be better. This one you might want to just skip to reading just the ratings because this was nothing special. Bridget and Dante have had worst *cough cough* Dune Buggy *cough cough*, but that didn’t help the fact that this one wasn’t really worth the time or money. They both gave it a, “Tastes like shit”. Gina on the other hand thought that was too high of a rating for this bombstrosity and had to put it at the bottom of the barrel rating it an, “I’d like to rinse my mouth out with Battery Acid now”. Chad and Thaddeus thought it was nothing special, but not as bad as everyone else thought. They both gave it a, “If there’s nothing else”.

Though not all the wines went over well, it was fine seeing as we drank them all anyway, we didn’t want to be wasteful. We all got good and route and enjoyed ourselves so it was worth it.
