    Wine o'clock.

Welcome back my cheap wine aficionados or winos if you want to be a dick about it. Once again we have reached a Wednesday and the world still exists. Way to go world! That means time to crack open a bottle or two for us and time for you to be jealous of us. This week we decided to try a Chardonnay by Clos Du Bois the same company whose Dry Rose we tried in Nothing wrong with a few friends having a Ménage à Trois. That wine received, “A flaccid 3”, an ominous foreshadowing, maybe. Guess you will have to read to find out.

    Clos Du Bois - Chardonnay

    Clos Du Bois – Chardonnay

Clos Du Bois, Chardonnay a Chardonnay from California, yes I realize that a California wine with a French name is a bit pretentious but who cares we’re here to drink it not judge it, oh wait. Anyway moving on, we pick this bottle up at Bevmo for $10.99. At 13% ABV it was right around average for a Chardonnay. Bridget, Dante, Thaddeus all agreeed that this wine was just plan flacid in the mouth, all three of them gave it a, “A flaccid 3.” It came close to our drinkable line, but fell short. Sorry Clos Du Bois your Chardonnay didn’t quite get us hard.

    Rating:
       Bridget -A flaccid 3
       Dante – A flaccid 3
       Thaddeus – A flaccid 3
